Vision Therapists are board certified optometrists who help individuals suffering from visual misdiagnosis and related symptoms such as poor connection, headaches, and blurred vision. Vision Therapy provides treatment of visual dysfunction and lags in visual development through a customized program of visual activities designed to correct visual problems and improve visual skills. This includes a progressive program of vision procedures that can include lenses, prisms, filters, and other devices, designed to develop or improve visual skills and change how a patient processes or interprets visual information. The goal of vision therapy is to help patients develop effective, efficient and effortless visual function. This often includes a resultant positive change in behavior and resolution of associated behavioral dysfunctions.
